A bigger idea.
The Shrimpers-online is an independent supporter website founded by James Sullivan in 2004 and relaunched in March 2026 after three years of preparation.
Southend United is at its heart. Here you’ll find match reports and previews, news and opinion, detailed football records, ticket information and a growing archive of the club’s history.
The ambition is to build a free website with depth, personality and a reason to come back—whether you’re checking a statistic, planning a journey or remembering where you stood when a goal went in.
