The Shrimpers-online is an independent, fan-run website dedicated to Southend United. We are not owned by, affiliated with, or funded by Southend United Football Club, the Shrimpers Trust, or any commercial organisation.
Our Core Principles

- All opinions expressed in features or match reports are clearly presented as the personal views of the author.
- We treat opposition clubs, players, officials, and fans with respect, even during heated rivalries.
- We avoid sensationalism and clickbait headlines. Our goal is honest, passionate fan journalism.
Independence
This site is run by dedicated Southend United fans for fellow fans. Editorial content is chosen based on what we believe is interesting or important to the Shrimpers community.
