Data and Account Deletion
How to request deletion of your Clubhouse account and associated personal data.
You are in control of your Clubhouse account. You can ask us to permanently delete your account and the personal information connected to it.
What We Will Delete
Once a valid deletion request has been confirmed, we will remove or anonymise the Clubhouse information linked to your account, including where applicable:
- Your Clubhouse profile and public display name.
- Your supported club and Clubhouse preferences.
- Your badges, saved scores, National League Challenge history and leaderboard records.
- Your newsletter preference held by the Clubhouse system and shared with the TSO Newsletter plugin when you opt in.
- Connections between your Clubhouse account and social sign-in providers such as Google or Facebook.
Information We May Need to Keep
We may retain limited information where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes. For example, payment records connected with future Supporter transactions may need to be retained for the period required by law.
How to Request Deletion
Email editor@theshrimpers-online.co.uk from the email address registered to your Clubhouse account. Use the subject line Clubhouse Account Deletion Request and include:
- Your registered email address.
- Your public display name, if known.
- A clear request to permanently delete your Clubhouse account and associated data.
We may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before deletion. This protects members from fraudulent or malicious deletion requests.
Timescale
We will normally complete a verified deletion request within 30 days. We will contact you if more information is needed or if a legal reason requires part of the information to be retained for longer.
Social Login
Deleting your Clubhouse account does not delete your Google, Facebook or X account. You may also remove The Shrimpers-online Clubhouse from the connected apps section of the relevant social provider.
