Clubhouse Rules
A friendly, fair and welcoming Clubhouse for home and away supporters.
Whether you support Southend United or another club, you are welcome here. By registering for a Clubhouse account, you agree to follow these rules.
1. Everyone Is Welcome
The Shrimpers-online has always welcomed both home and away supporters. Friendly football banter is part of the game. Personal abuse is not.
2. Respect Other Members
Please be polite and respectful. Bullying, harassment, threats, hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
3. Keep It Family Friendly
The Clubhouse is for registered members aged 16 and over, while the wider website remains available to supporters of all ages. Please avoid excessive swearing, offensive language, adult content, illegal material or anything likely to spoil the experience for younger supporters.
4. Fair Play
Please use one genuine account and do not manipulate games, competitions, scores or predictions, exploit technical problems, or use automated tools. Tell us about any bugs so we can fix them.
5. Age and Accurate Registration
You must be aged 16 or over to register. Please use genuine information and keep your email address up to date. The team you support is optional and helps us understand our community.
6. Appropriate Usernames
Usernames and display names must be suitable for all audiences. We may change or remove names that are offensive, misleading or impersonate another person or organisation.
7. No Spam or Unauthorised Advertising
Do not use the Clubhouse to send spam or advertise products, services or unrelated websites without permission.
8. Competitions and Games
Enjoy Clubhouse games, predictions and competitions honestly. Attempts to gain an unfair advantage may result in scores or entries being removed and accounts being suspended.
9. New Clubhouse Features
As new features are introduced, these rules may be expanded. The latest version will always be published here.
10. Moderation
Where necessary, we may remove inappropriate content, issue warnings, suspend accounts or permanently remove accounts in serious or repeated cases. We will always aim to be fair and reasonable.
