Forward · 1925–1928
One of the great early Southend goalscorers. Hick joined from Middlesbrough in 1925 and struck 76 times in only 113 first-team appearances over the next three seasons. He scored twice when the Shrimpers stunned Second Division Derby County 4–1 in the 1926 FA Cup, before leaving for Bristol City in 1928.
