Forward · 1934–1940 (manager)
David Jack is best known here as Southend's manager from 1934 to 1940, not as a regular player. Before taking charge he was a celebrated Bolton Wanderers and Arsenal forward and an England international. A claimed single 1936 FA Cup playing appearance needs original team-sheet verification.
This player's historical identity needs checking. Different records name different footballers for the same appearances. We've temporarily withheld those figures until the original team sheets can be reconciled.
This is the archived career snapshot, not an automatically combined lifetime total. Some earlier seasons and cup records are incomplete; current-season matches are shown separately until each historical season has been reconciled. No unverified figures are presented as definitive club records.
