Striker Emile Acquah developed in Southend's academy and impressed in a loan spell with Harlow Town before making his League One debut in 2019. His strength and movement gave the Shrimpers an option up front through two difficult seasons, including a first-team goal away at Ipswich Town.
Acquah made 48 competitive appearances and scored three times before joining Maidenhead United, initially on loan and later permanently. He continued his career at Barrow and Dundee.
