Botswana international midfielder Renei Batlokwa was part of Southend's development set-up and earned two first-team opportunities during the 2018/19 season. Both were starts in the EFL Trophy, not Football League outings, and he did not score.
Batlokwa had also spent time gaining experience on loan at Lowestoft Town before continuing his career outside the Football League. His immediate permanent destination after Southend has not yet been firmly verified.
