Scottish striker Andy Dallas arrived from Barnsley on a season-long loan immediately before Southend's opening match of 2025/26. A former Rangers youngster, he already knew the National League from prolific spells with Weymouth, Solihull Moors and Chesterfield.

He made his Shrimpers debut at Gateshead and added a reliable goalscoring presence throughout the campaign, including the run to the club's FA Trophy triumph. Dallas moved to Walsall in June 2026.
