Belgian-born midfielder Franck Moussa rose through Southend's youth ranks and made his League debut in March 2006, helping to bridge the League One title campaign and the Championship years. He went on to become a first-team regular, had a loan spell with Wycombe Wanderers and moved to Leicester City in 2010. Moussa returned briefly in March 2016 and scored in his comeback season before joining Walsall.
