Graham Bressington reunited with his former Lincoln City manager Colin Murphy at Southend in summer 1993. A strong, versatile player who could operate in midfield or at centre-half, he was listed as a defender in a contemporary Southend programme. Injuries hampered his spell at Roots Hall; he later played briefly for Slough Town.
