Former Manchester City and Huddersfield forward Harry Bunn joined Southend on loan from Bury in August 2018. Operating across the front line and wide areas, he scored six times in thirty competitive games, four of those goals in League One, during Chris Powell's difficult 2018/19 campaign.
He returned to Bury at the end of the loan and subsequently signed for Kilmarnock in January 2020, where he reunited with former Huddersfield coach Alex Dyer.
