Harry Cardwell has had three Southend chapters. The striker first arrived from Chorley in January 2022 and became a supporters' favourite through his work rate, strong hold-up play and goals, including eighteen in the 2023/24 National League season.
Forest Green Rovers signed him in August 2024, but he came back to Roots Hall on loan in December 2025 and marked his second home debut with a goal in the FA Trophy against Truro City. He then returned permanently for 2026/27.
