Centre-half Harry Lennon joined Southend from Charlton Athletic in July 2018, having already gained senior experience on loan at Cambridge United and Gillingham. Injuries disrupted his first two seasons at Roots Hall, but he remained a first-team option through the club's difficult 2020/21 League Two campaign.
He scored once in 39 competitive Southend appearances before leaving in 2021 and signing for Wrexham. His Southend period was shaped by repeated challenges to his fitness.
