Experienced National League forward Jake Hyde joined on loan from Wrexham in August 2022 to add a proven penalty-area presence. He led the line alongside a changing cast of attacking partners and contributed five goals in 21 competitive appearances.

With promotion-chasing Wrexham holding his registration, the spell was always temporary, and he returned to the Welsh club at the conclusion of 2022/23.
