Michael Klass joined Southend from Queens Park Rangers' youth set-up in 2017 and made his first senior appearance in the EFL Trophy against Gillingham. The adaptable midfielder could also cover defensive roles and made his League One breakthrough in 2018/19.
He spent part of his later Southend career on loan at Bromley before being released in 2021. Klass then rebuilt his career with Lewes and later Aldershot Town and Worthing.
