Cardiff City academy forward Nat Jarvis made his Football League debut on loan at Southend in September 2010. Still eighteen, he arrived for a month and appeared as a substitute in six League Two matches and one Football League Trophy tie.

He returned to Cardiff without a Southend goal and went on to score on his competitive debut for his parent club the following season. He later developed his career through Newport County, Forest Green Rovers, Kidderminster Harriers and other clubs.
