Central defender Ronnie Henry joined Southend on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in March 2003. He made his professional debut in the 2–0 win over Darlington on 5 April and started two further League matches. He later became a Stevenage stalwart.
Older data abbreviated his name to Ron Henry, but the player is Ronnie Stephen Henry, not his namesake grandfather who played for Tottenham decades earlier. Southend's own history verifies his three appearances.
