Biography

Born in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, Spasov moved to England as a youngster and developed through the Oxford United academy system. In September 2018, he became the youngest goalscorer in Oxford United's history when he scored on his senior debut in an EFL Trophy match against Fulham Under-21s.

Southend United signed Spasov in June 2025 on a two-year contract. He opened his Southend account away at Wealdstone before producing one of the most memorable moments of his first season with a dramatic late winner away at Yeovil Town.
