Leon Chambers-Parillon came through Oxford United's academy, made a senior EFL Trophy appearance for the U's and established himself at Slough Town before Southend signed him in January 2025. His flair and ability to carry the ball into dangerous areas soon made him popular at Roots Hall.

He scored at Wembley in the 2025 National League play-off final against Oldham and remained an important creative force into 2026/27, including a run of three scoring matches in September 2026.
